Individual Psychotherapy

Therapy that goes deeper than symptom management.

Psychotherapy—or talk therapy—is important. It allows us to explore our past, present, and future selves within a safe, nonjudgmental space. Life is complicated and nobody makes it into adulthood without scars. Nobody! Whether you’re experiencing mental health challenges or navigating life’s complexities, you’ve come to the right place.

01

What is psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy is a standardized, evidence-based treatment that uses conversation to help individuals identify, understand, and address unhealthy thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. The therapeutic process can reduce and/or eliminate distressing symptoms, improve coping skills, strengthen relationships, and change harmful patterns.

02

How can it help?

Psychotherapy can help by offering a structured environment to explore, process, and change unhealthy thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In addition, it can reduce and/or eliminate anxiety, depression, panic attacks, and other symptoms.

My approach

Warm. Compassionate.
Evidence-based.

My clinical approach is integrative and client-centered, leaning on evidence-based approaches and interventions (when indicated) to help clients understand the why behind their challenges and how to move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose. The objective is to turn understanding into momentum.

What the work looks like

A structured path forward.

Therapy here follows a structure. You always know where you are in the work, and where it’s going next.

  1. 01

    Intake & assessment

We map what brought you in — history, symptoms, goals — and agree on where to start.

  2. 02

    Construction of rapport

We build the trust and safety that make real work possible. No rush, no pressure.

  3. 03

    Exploration & processing

We go beneath the surface — the patterns and experiences driving the distress.

  4. 04

    Skill building & action

You gain concrete, evidence-based tools and put them to work between sessions.

  5. 05

    Termination of care

When you’re steady and equipped, we close with intention — and a plan to sustain it.
