Jeffrey Farber, MSW, LCSW
I’m a United States Marine Corps combat veteran, Founder, and licensed psychotherapist in the San Francisco, Bay Area, who provides individual therapy, executive coaching, and addiction and recovery services.
My clinical career began in some of the Bay Area’s most demanding environments, including East Bay Advanced Care, Swords to Plowshares, and Alta Mira Recovery Programs. By working in these organizations, I developed strong clinical skills and learned how to deliver practical, real-world care.
Now in private practice, I continue to provide down-to-earth, compassionate clinical care that helps individuals feel seen, heard, supported, and better able to navigate the good, the bad, and the ugly of life. If this resonates with you, please reach out and schedule a free consultation.
After leaving the United States Marine Corps, I transitioned into clinical social work and provided care in hospitals, outpatient clinics, community-based programs, and residential treatment centers across the San Francisco Bay Area. By practicing in these settings, I’ve learned what works, what doesn’t work, and how to deliver practical solutions.
My practice is intentionally small and constructed to deliver highly personalized, high-impact care that prioritizes individual needs, goals, and outcomes. As a client, you’ll benefit from easy access, streamlined communication, and a tailored therapeutic relationship.
I received my education and training at the University of San Francisco (USF), the University of Southern California (USC), the University of California, Berkeley (UCB), and Stanford University. Further, I’ve been published and have lectured on mental health conditions, clinical practice, and translating clinical know-how into real-world care.
